Treat Claude as your posting agent: one Sunday session drafts the week, schedules slots, and queues live publishes for your approval. Sunday batch prompt (copy-paste)
Connect MCP at item12.com/mcp, then ask Claude or ChatGPT:
- "Draft five LinkedIn posts for next week using my pillars: product insight, customer proof, industry take, personal story, engagement question. Schedule them Mon–Fri at 9am ET using schedule_linkedin_post. Show list_scheduled_linkedin_posts. Do not publish live until I approve in Review."
- Edit any draft in chat → ask Claude to update the scheduled row
- Open Item 12 → Review queue → approve each post before it goes live (2 credits per publish)
Publish flow and credits
Scheduling a post does not use credits until it publishes. Live linkedin_create_post costs 2 premium credits. Always approve in Review — MCP never bypasses the queue. Failed publishes surface in LinkedIn Posts with error text for retry.
Friday follow-up: what drove inbound?
End of week prompt: "List my published LinkedIn posts this week with linkedin_list_posts. Cross-reference list_inbox for new threads from contacts not in an active deal. Summarize which post themes correlated with inbound DMs." Use insights to tune next week's pillars.

schedule_linkedin_post holds copy until the slot; publish still flows through Review. Immediate publish uses linkedin_create_post after approval.
Does ChatGPT work the same as Claude?
